The Beth Loubavitch of Marseille doesn’t forget as well the eastern European countries like Romania. In partnership with a Romanian association we sent several tons of clothes to Timisoara in order to distribute them to the worst off.
In the second floor, we have arranged locker room. We freely redistributed those clothes to the needy families. The extra linen will be sold at a very low price which will generate little profits for the association.
At the same floor a 123 square meter second hand trade association will allow to stock the furniture in order to resell or distribute them.
Some of the items are sold in the shop itself is also a source of income.
The chosen solution for the meals delivery is the sterilized pans. It allows stocking up in a small volume of 1000 pans. They offer a facility and flexibility of usage which solves a large amount of delivery and preservation difficulties.
We defined a 49 square meter space used on one side to store the meals intended to be delivered, and in another side a solidarity shop which will offers items at cost price.
We noticed both of the first items being reduced by the needy families are sanitary and maintenance items. For that reason, the solidarity shop chose to offer those items at a very low cost.
You will find 90 square meter association library offering books about education, psychology or autobiographical stories. It also offers items for the house and cuisine arts.
The profits sales contribute to the operating expenses.
